A QUICK START FOR YOUR FIRST PROJECT
Cabinet design: getting started.
- Open the demo or your member studio. Start with the sample kitchen or choose New to create a room.
- Add and edit cabinets. Choose a cabinet in the library. Click once to select it, then click again to open its editor. Click empty space or press Escape to deselect.
- Set your construction. Use Construction in the top toolbar. Choose the case system and joinery, then set thicknesses, toe kicks, reveals and back-panel insets. Dimensions accept decimals, including 0.75 and 0.125 inches.
- Choose the look. Doors & Colors changes fronts or finishes across the project. The selected cabinet’s editor handles individual changes.
- Inspect the room. Drag to orbit. Hold both mouse buttons and move in any direction to pan. On a phone, use one finger to orbit and two to pan and zoom.
- Show the doors again. In the 3D view, click Show fronts in the floating view toolbar. See inside hides them again.
- Save your work. Save Project downloads a .ccp file. In the member studio it also saves to your account. Reopen a local file with Open or choose a cloud project in My account.
- Prepare production files. Review Parts and Nest, then export SVG or DXF. For machine output, review Machine settings and all preflight findings before exporting.

SVG and DXF scale
The exports contain finished-size part outlines, stock boundaries and labels. They do not contain a second tool-radius-offset outline. In Aspire, confirm the imported units and measure a known dimension before making toolpaths. A 24 × 12 inch part must measure 609.6 × 304.8 mm when using metric units.
Using an Android phone
Open this website in your phone’s browser and choose Demo or My studio. Landscape orientation gives you more room. Switch 3D quality to Performance if navigation feels slow. Production exports need an internet connection.
If something goes wrong
Download your project backup first. If cloud saving fails, your downloaded file remains available. Refresh My account to recheck membership. A billing outage blocks new production exports, but you can keep designing and save locally.
Before cutting
Check part sizes, materials, tool diameters, origin, Z zero, hold-down, speeds and clearances in your machine software. Run an air cut before the first job. Displayed 3D detail is not proof of machining accuracy.
